Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of projects within the region, ensuring efficient project execution, adherence to timelines, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize productivity, optimize resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Profit and Loss (P&L) Management:
  • Take full accountability for the financial performance of the region, including revenue generation, cost control, and profitability.
  • In cooperation with Senior Management, develop annual budgets, closely monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis, prepare accurate reports for Business Review meetings, and provide recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Sales and Business Development:
  • In cooperation with Sales, develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market share in the region.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and build strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and successful project acquisitions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to capitalize on emerging opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Day-to-day management of the team (current team size is <10)
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing clear direction, and performance expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong safety culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (at least 7-10 years) in wind energy operations, P&L management, and sales, preferably in a managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the wind industry, including project development, construction, and operations.
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy with the ability to analyze P&L statements, budgets, and financial reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
